• June 16 – 17, 2014 •
University of Nebraska – Omaha, Metropolitan Community College, and Creighton University

This year’s event has passed. Please check back for next year’s event date and details.

We are continuing the NACRAO Campus Visit Program – be sure to sign up so you can join in on the networking and fun.

We will be visiting three campuses in Omaha during the workshop – UNO, Metropolitan CC, and Creighton University.  Travel between campuses will be on your own.

Monday night, we have rooms reserved at the Fort Omaha Campus at MCC.  There is no charge for the room and all linens and pillow are provided.  These are nice accommodations!  If you prefer not to stay on campus, you may reserve a hotel room in Omaha on your own.  We have five rooms reserved at the Super 8 near the airport.  For more information, contact Erin Mekelburg ([email protected]).  Please note that lodging rates may be higher due to the College World Series.

Dress code is casual.  Be sure to wear walking shoes.  Monday night we’ll get together for games, popcorn, and a movie.
Each day of the workshop will feature:

  • A brief tour of each campus plus a presentation by the host registrars on successful practices in their line of work
  • Discussions on topics such as reverse transfer, e-transcripts, best practices in transferring credits, and lessons in leadership
  • A roundtable discussion on topics of your choosing

Payment for registration & housing will be accepted on the NACRAO website ( using PayPal, or through the mail with a check made payable to NACRAO.  You will receive more detailed information once you are registered.
